Lt. Raymond Gregory
Lieutenant Raymond Gregory has worked for the Department in a variety of assignments for over seventeen-years. He began his service in Blythe, where he worked both corrections and patrol. He then served for a time as a courtroom deputy at the Larson Justice Center in Indio. He was promoted to investigator and worked in the Sheriff's Administrative Investigations Bureau conducting internal affairs investigations. Once he became a sergeant, he worked as a supervisor at the Larry Smith Correctional Facility in Banning and watch commander at the Indio Station. In 2006, he became the supervisor of the Forensic Services Bureau at the Indio Station. In 2007, Lieutenant Gregory was promoted to his current rank and assigned as the assistant chief of police for the city of La Quinta.
Lieutenant Gregory has been a full-time resident of the Coachella Valley since 1998. He has attended College of the Desert, and is a graduate of California State University - Palm Desert with a Bachelor's degree in Management.
